Happy Holidays Everyone!

The book is with the proofreader (also the developmental editor), and it is taking longer than planned. They’ve been with me since January 2022. I trust them. We’ve talked about what is going on with the manuscript and I told them do what you think is best. The draft seems to have had some issues occur over this past year. My thought is this has been too long a journey to just throw something out there. I want it to be the best iteration it can be. Kate and Sunjae deserve it. The two of them have gone through enough in their book life!

The plan is a January 2025 release. It comes back from her and then back to the formatter.

Understand, I am not upset it has taken longer because I have learned so much about the process and I realized how much I can do myself without relying on anyone else. I love my new cover. I am addicted to my writing groups. The art/act of writing gives me a creative freedom I have not felt in MANY years. The biggest part of all of it is the support I have gotten from family and friends. My sister, brother and family are my biggest cheering section. They make me feel like I can do anything.

It’s going to happen! Trust me.
